Pako Salad

The Pako Salad recipe (Paco) is one of the fern vegetables that Filipinos love to eat. This vegetable which has a scientific name of Athyrium Esculentum is usually eaten as a Salad or as a side dish to a main viand.

Instructions

  1. Combine the ingredients for the dressing in a small bowl.
  2. Mix well and set aside.
  3. Wash and spin-dry Pako leaves.
  4. Combine Pako, tomato slices, onion slices in a bowl and mix well.
  5. Drizzle with dressing and toss.
  6. Top with salted egg slices.
  7. Serve.
